For us, following Jesus means showing up for racial justice, LGBTQ+ inclusion, along with our immigrant and unhoused neighbors. We practice nonviolence and grassroots justice instead of chasing political power. We'd rather build peace than win an argument.

A Note From Our Pastor
Like many of you, my faith was formed by my home church. My parents. Our culture at large.
What began as a tight-knit community devolved into doctrinal disagreements and an endless battle over who goes to hell and whether women were “allowed” to lead. Maybe you can find yourself in that story, too.
I left the church. Sat quietly alone in a room and grieved my losses. I read and re-read the teachings of Jesus, unencumbered by church growth strategies and the fear of his father’s punishment if I didn’t return his ‘unconditional’ love. I discovered Jesus was too radical for mainstream Christianity. My eyes were opened to the real reason he was killed. I learned that Jesus could bear the weight of my questions and doubts. I found that no matter how far away I wandered, he was walking beside me – never to judge, but only to bring about the healing I desperately needed in order to live the life I was created for.
The mission of our church is to bring healing and hope to our world. We often remind ourselves “we cannot bring what we do not have,” and we are committed to being on the path of healing ourselves as we invite others to join us.
